Rounded Rectangle: The Purpose The EduTain Game® delivers quality literacy and numeracy instruction using a one hour, multimedia game-show format to teach many of the required literacy skills covered in the Elementary English curriculum.  The format is designed specifically to meet the differentiated learning (D.I.) styles of the visual, audio and kinesthetic learner.  This multiple-intelligences based show is a perfect opportunity to enrich students during your 100 minute Literacy Block, your D.P.A. or for EQAO preparation. Rounded Rectangle: The Experience Up to 60 students (each with their own EduTain® Game Booklet) are divided into two teams.  Students choose categories, compete in games, activities, experience music videos, physical and mental challenges, win prizes and more.  Each category the students choose exposes them to a new literacy strategy designed to meet specific "Differentiated Instruction" goals and Gardner’s "Multiple Intelligences." Literacy strategies include: Q.A.R., Word Walls, Signal Words and Organizational Patterns, Reading Between the Lines, Word Map, Visualization, K-W-L, and Think Aloud.
